This group of members work on citizenship, crime prevention, and safety. They provide food for local poll workers during elections, promote voting within the club, promote community action on legislative agendas by letting us know when bills are up that effect our community and how we can voice our opinion, and educate us on citizenship programs during the year such as flag etiquette, the pledge of allegiance, and educating us on our Presidents and other government functions. They support the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program for children, CRCC (Carroll Rape Crisis Center) by decorating a Christmas Tree for the “Night of Lights” each hyear, volunteer and sponsor the GA Safe kid car seat inspections in Carroll County, provide support and materials for the Carroll County Foster Parents Program. The sponsorship of the GA Safe kids is one of the most rewarding programs done by CJWC, because these inspections make a difference in the safety of children’s lives.
